About the Role :

We are looking for a specialized Data Analyst with a strong background in Salesforce to join our Business Intelligence (BI) Customer Support Team.

This role is crucial for supporting our internal application, Propel, which is built on the Salesforce platform.

You will leverage your Salesforce expertise alongside your data analysis skills to provide in-depth insights, manage data access, develop dashboards, and handle various data-related tasks, specifically focusing on the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Respond to user questions and provide support related to data within our internal Salesforce-based application, Propel.

- Utilize knowledge of Apex and Lightning Components to understand data structures and logic within Salesforce.

- Manage and maintain access controls for Tableau dashboards, particularly those integrated with Salesforce data sources.

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, often sourcing data directly or indirectly from Salesforce.

- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks, with a specific focus on Salesforce data using SQL and Python.

- Collaborate with development teams and Salesforce administrators to ensure data integrity and optimize data flows from Salesforce.

- Assist in troubleshooting data discrepancies and performance issues related to Salesforce data.

- Leverage AWS knowledge for data integration or warehousing solutions connected to Salesforce data.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in SQL : Ability to write complex queries and manipulate data.

- Solid experience with Python : Capable of data cleaning, analysis, and automation, especially for Salesforce data.

- Expertise in Tableau : Demonstrated experience in creating compelling visualizations and dashboards.

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce : Understanding of the Salesforce platform, including data models and reporting capabilities.

- Knowledge of Apex : Ability to read and understand Apex code for data extraction and logic.

- Familiarity with Lightning Components : Understanding how data is presented and interacted with in Lightning.

- Experience with AWS : Exposure to AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, EC2) for data storage, processing, or integration.

- Proven experience in a data analysis role for 3-5 years, with a significant portion involving Salesforce.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.

- Salesforce Administrator or Developer certifications.

- Experience working with large datasets in a cloud environment.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model
