About the Role :
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst ETL/Python to join our growing data team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines, performing data analysis using Python, and delivering actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
You will collaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and timely data delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Develop efficient and reusable data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation from multiple databases and APIs.
- Automate ETL workflows using Python scripts, SQL, and scheduling tools (Airflow, Cron, etc.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Analyze large datasets using Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL to uncover trends, anomalies, and insights.
- Work with business stakeholders to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements.
- Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Support data-driven decision-making through ad-hoc analysis and predictive insights.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data analysis and transformation.
- Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Implement data validation scripts and unit testing to ensure data reliability and integrity.
- Optimize performance for large-scale data processing and storage.
- Partner with data engineers to enhance data models and ETL infrastructure.
- Collaborate with business and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Document processes, data flows, and pipeline architectures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior data analysts when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-5years of experience as a Data Analyst, ETL Developer, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark preferred).
- Hands-on experience in ETL tools and frameworks (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or custom Python-based ETL).
- Expertise in SQL (writing complex queries, performance tuning, joins, aggregations, etc.
- Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data lakes, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of API data extraction, JSON/XML parsing, and data integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies
