Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Cutover Manager with 8 - 10+ years of SAP experience and strong hands-on expertise in S/4HANA conversion cutovers. The ideal candidate should have personally owned and executed at least 2 - 3 S/4HANA conversion cutovers, preferably involving SUM with DMO.

The role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end cutover activities, including technical downtime, data migration, post-conversion functional activities, reconciliations, and go-live readiness.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA conversion cutover activities from planning through go-live and stabilization.

- Develop and maintain a detailed minute-by-minute cutover runbook covering all technical and functional activities.

- Define activities, timings, dependencies, named owners, checkpoints, and escalation paths within the cutover plan.

- Plan and coordinate the complete downtime window, including business freeze and technical conversion activities.

- Coordinate data migration, technical downtime, post-conversion functional activities, and reconciliation activities.

- Manage pre- and post-conversion reconciliation of balances, open items, and critical business data.

- Establish and manage go/no-go checkpoints and ensure all readiness criteria are met before proceeding.

- Develop and maintain a tested rollback/backout plan to mitigate risks during conversion.

- Lead the cutover command centre during critical conversion and go-live activities.

- Manage a 24x7 command centre, including shift handovers, status reporting, issue tracking, and escalation management.

- Coordinate across SAP technical, functional, infrastructure, data migration, business, and other stakeholder teams.

- Track cutover progress in real time and proactively identify and resolve risks, dependencies, and blockers.

- Provide regular cutover status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.

- Utilize tools such as SAP Cloud ALM for cutover planning, tracking, monitoring, and reporting.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- 8 - 10+ years of SAP experience with significant experience in SAP transformation and cutover management.

- Hands-on experience with at least 2 - 3 SAP S/4HANA conversion cutovers where the candidate personally owned the cutover runbook.

- Strong experience with SUM with DMO-based S/4HANA conversions is preferred.

- Proven expertise in creating and executing minute-by-minute cutover runbooks.

- Strong understanding of SAP technical downtime, data migration, conversion activities, and post-conversion processes.
