Role Overview :

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of talented software engineers in Hyderabad, driving the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable transportation solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the team, ultimately impacting the efficiency and user experience of our transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster their professional growth.

- Drive the design, development, and implementation of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using Java and AWS technologies.

- Collaborate with product managers and architects to define technical requirements, create project plans, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.

- Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the team, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.

- Manage project risks and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.

- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and across different departments to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable applications using Java and AWS cloud services.

- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps principles.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
