About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Coupa P2P Consultant with strong expertise in Application Management Services (AMS) and the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) module.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing functional support, managing production issues, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring seamless integration between Coupa and ERP systems.


This role requires a consultative professional who can effectively collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to drive operational excellence while ensuring platform stability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Coupa P2P Support & AMS :

- Provide L2/L3 functional support for the Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P) module in an AMS environment.

- Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets while ensuring adherence to SLA commitments.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions for recurring issues.

- Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities for system improvements.

2. Business Process & Functional Consulting :

- Support end-to-end procurement processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, invoicing, matching, and exception handling.

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into effective Coupa solutions.

- Recommend process improvements, configuration enhancements, and industry best practices to optimize procurement operations.

- Work closely with business users to resolve functional issues and improve user experience.

3. CoupaERP Integration :

- Support and monitor CoupaERP integrations, ensuring smooth data flow across procurement and finance systems.

- Troubleshoot interface failures, integration issues, and transactional errors in collaboration with technical teams.

- Coordinate with integration teams to resolve end-to-end process issues affecting business operations.

4. Release & Change Management :

- Review and assess the impact of Coupa's scheduled product releases.

- Coordinate lower environment upgrades, regression testing, and production deployment activities.

- Ensure business readiness through impact assessments, release validation, and stakeholder communication.

- Minimize business disruption during release cycles by proactively managing risks and change activities.

5. Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, IT, and Integration teams to deliver timely solutions.

- Communicate technical issues, release changes, and business impacts clearly to functional stakeholders.

- Handle business escalations professionally while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

6. Continuous Improvement :

- Identify opportunities to improve support processes, system performance, and operational efficiency.

- Maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.

- Drive adoption of best practices across Coupa support and AMS operations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 9+ years of overall experience with strong expertise in Coupa Application Management Services (AMS).

- Hands-on experience supporting the Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P) module.

- Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, invoicing, matching, and exception handling.

- Experience supporting CoupaERP integration, interface monitoring, and end-to-end troubleshooting.

- Strong experience in L2/L3 production support, incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.

- Experience gathering business requirements and recommending functional and process improvements.

- Hands-on experience with release management, regression testing, and production deployments.

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, business-facing support environment with a strong ownership mindset.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

- Coupa Functional Certification is preferred.

- Experience working in Procurement, Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, or Enterprise Procurement environments.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile delivery methodologies is an added advantage.
