Description :

We are seeking a skilled Cortex Tester with strong Cards Domain expertise and hands-on experience in Cortex systems and IST switches.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating card management and transaction processing systems, ensuring seamless integration with switching platforms and compliance with banking standards.

The role requires readiness to work onsite in Riyadh or Qatar.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end testing of Cortex-based card management systems

- Validate transaction flows across IST switches

- Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing

- Develop and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios for cards domain applications

- Verify card lifecycle processes (issuance, activation, authorization, clearing, settlement)

- Identify, log, and track defects through resolution

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and switch teams

- Support UAT and production validation activities

- Ensure compliance with payment industry standards and banking regulations

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience in Cards Domain (Debit/Credit/Prepaid)

- Hands-on experience with Cortex platform testing

- Experience working with IST switches

- Understanding of ISO 8583 message formats

- Experience in transaction monitoring and reconciliation

- Strong SQL knowledge for backend validation

- Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, etc.)

- Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot transaction failures

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

- Experience in banking or financial services domain

- Knowledge of payment schemes (Visa/Mastercard) is an advantage

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
