- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in MS SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL development

Must-Have Skills :

- Expertise in writing complex Stored Procedures and SQL Queries

- Handson experience in performance tuning of complex Stored Procedures, Stored Functions and SQL Queries

- Strong command of Dynamic SQL, Table Type Variables and Temporary Tables.

- Good Knowledge in JSON Handling in Database

- Proven ability to work with large and complex relational database systems

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and database design principles

- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision

- Experience in prioritizing tasks, handling escalations, and collaborating with distributed teams

- Comfortable coordinating with onsite stakeholders for requirements gathering and delivery

- Willingness to work extended hours when needed

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to NoSQL, Vector Databases and Graph Databases with a willingness to learn new technologies

- 12 years of experience leading a small development team or mentoring junior developers

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain relational database systems for high-performance applications.

- Write and optimize complex queries and stored procedures.

- Participate in database design, data warehouse structuring, and schema optimization

- Work closely with development teams to integrate backend database logic with front-end applications

- Perform query tuning and performance optimization

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing SQL code or database structures

- Document database structures, procedures, and configuration changes clearly and accurately
