Our client, a global consulting firm, is supporting a leading EPC / Infrastructure client undertaking a digital procurement transformation initiative, extending an existing procurement program. The initiative focuses on enhancing and digitising end-to-end procurement processes across SAP, SAP Ariba and Vendor Portal platforms.

As a Procurement Consultant/ SME, you will bring deep SAP MM and SAP Ariba expertise to help shape and implement digital procurement processes across the clients procurement ecosystem. You will work closely with Procurement, Projects, Finance, IT and implementation partners to translate business needs into effective technology-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Map current-state Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay processes, identify pain points and design target-state digital procurement processes.

- Provide functional expertise across SAP MM/P2P and SAP Ariba, covering sourcing, contracting, requisitioning, PO management, service procurement, GR/SES and invoicing.

- Support the design and integration of vendor/supplier portals, including onboarding, RFQ participation, PO acknowledgement, delivery visibility and invoice submission.

- Define business requirements, user stories, process flows, functional specifications and acceptance criteria for procurement solutions.

- Work with Procurement, Projects, Finance, IT and implementation partners through design, build, testing and deployment.

- Support UAT, business readiness, cutover and adoption activities for the procurement transformation.

Your Background :

- 10 - 15+ years of experience in SAP MM / Procurement and SAP Ariba, with strong functional and application-level expertise.

- Deep understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay processes and SAP procurement workflows.

- Proven experience in EPC / Infrastructure procurement, including project procurement, material and service buying, subcontracting and high-value / long-lead procurement.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP MM/P2P, including PR/PO processes, approval workflows, contracts, service procurement, GR/SES and invoice integration.

- Working knowledge of SAP Ariba across sourcing, supplier onboarding/management, contracts and buying.

- Experience with Vendor / Supplier Portals and procurement system integrations, including master data dependencies.

- Experience translating business requirements into functional solutions and supporting transformation programs through implementation and deployment.

- This is a 10-month contractual opportunity for 2 consultants, based in Ahmedabad (full-time, onsite). The engagement is expected to start in the 3rd week of September 2026, with flexibility to start earlier.
