About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Technical Consultant Commvault to support our sales organization by designing, positioning, and presenting Commvault-based data protection and management solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Engagement :

- Partner with sales teams to understand customer business objectives, technical requirements, and challenges.

- Engage with prospective customers to assess existing IT infrastructure and data management environments.

- Act as a trusted technical advisor during the pre-sales cycle.

Solution Design & Architecture :

- Design and architect scalable data management, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions using Commvault technologies.

- Develop technical proposals, solution architectures, and documentation highlighting value propositions and benefits.

- Recommend best-fit architectures aligned with customer needs, industry standards, and best practices.

Product Demonstrations & Presentations :

- Deliver compelling product demonstrations showcasing Commvault capabilities and differentiators.

- Address technical queries and objections with confidence to build customer trust and credibility.

- Customize demos and presentations based on customer use cases.

Technical Expertise & Enablement :

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Commvault products, features, and roadmap.

- Provide deep technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.

- Support proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and technical evaluations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales implementation.

- Collaborate with fellow pre-sales consultants to share best practices and continuously improve solution quality.

Training & Support :

- Conduct technical training sessions for internal teams and customers.

- Provide ongoing technical support during evaluation, onboarding, and early implementation phases.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Commvault data protection, backup, and recovery solutions.

- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Commvault certifications are a strong advantage.
