Handle key customer issues on a need basis and front-end with the TAC team. Candidates will be able to solve difficult issues with minimal support and be comfortable working by themselves or as part of a small team. You will be expected to resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation, and be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in Android development. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implementation of network features for the ICX Product family in the areas of Layer 2 and Multicast.

- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software using the latest technologies and innovations in a timely manner.

- Handle key customer issues on a need basis and front-end with the TAC team.

- Technical documentation for key project deliverables, like the Functional Spec, Unit test cases.

Requirements :

- At least 2+ years of work experience on embedded platforms with real-time requirements.

- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science and related majors.

- Expertise in C for embedded systems with a strong understanding of best practices in C coding.

- Work experience and knowledge in the Layer 2 plane in any one of these : like Private VLAN, MRP, VSRP, xSTP, protected link group, and Link aggregation. Forwarding plane concepts in Mac modules, FDB, and 802.1br.

- Multicast : IGMP, MLD, PIM, MSDP.

- Good debugging skills are a must.

- Working experience in Linux/Unix is a must.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, programming, and troubleshooting skills required.

- Good written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

- Must be self-motivated with an ability to work effectively and harmoniously in large teams across geographies.

- Good understanding of L2/L3 networking, switching, and routing.

- Hands-on experience with any of the merchant silicon.

- Good debugging skills in GDB.

- Experience working on high-availability platforms.
