Role & responsibilities :

Leadership & Management :

- Lead architecture and design discussions with business stakeholders, technical architects, technical teams, and developers.

- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, providing technical guidance and support.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, design, and architecture.

- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively

Platform Development & Customisation :

- Design and implement scalable, high-performing Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Develop and maintain Salesforce solution roadmaps, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies.

- Design and develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and integrations.

- Build and customize community and portal solutions using Salesforce Experience Cloud.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Salesforce environment. Implement and maintain Salesforce configurations, custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and other standard functionalities.

- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud and other systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party tools.

- Stay updated with Salesforce innovations and emerging technologies to optimize solutions.

- Support business teams in identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.

- DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes

Quality Assurance :

- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.

- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.

- Documentation & Training: Create and maintain technical documentation for Salesforce solutions and integrations.

- Provide training and support to end-users and team members on Salesforce functionalities and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile :

- 10-12 years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture. Proven experience leading and managing a team of developers.

- Proficiency in Salesforce platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud and CRM Analytics.

- Experience in multi-cloud Salesforce implementations. Extensive experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web components, Salesforce Flows and Salesforce integrations.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and development methodologies.

- Experience with integration tools such as Mulesoft, WebMethods, REST/SOAP APIs, and ETL solutions.

- Deep understanding of data integrity, security and compliance standards within the Salesforce ecosystem.

- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web services. Knowledge and ability to follow SDLC as well as Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Salesforce.

- Knowledge of AI-driven Salesforce solutions such as Einstein Analytics.

- Experience in standard operating procedures to perform pre and post-production support activities.
