Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP BODS Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data integration, migration, and ETL solutions.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP Data Migration projects, ETL development, SAP and non-SAP system integrations, and data quality processes. You will work closely with business users, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-performance data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP BODS Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).

- Build data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for SAP and non-SAP applications.

- Develop reusable workflows, data flows, and batch jobs.

- Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.

2. Data Migration:

- Execute end-to-end data migration activities for SAP implementation and upgrade projects.

- Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading.

- Support SAP S/4HANA migration and data conversion initiatives.

- Ensure data integrity and reconciliation during migration.

3. Data Integration:

- Integrate SAP systems with third-party applications.

- Develop interfaces between SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP HANA, and external databases.

- Work with flat files, XML, CSV, APIs, and database connections.

- Troubleshoot and resolve interface and data integration issues.

4. Data Quality & Validation:

- Perform data profiling and validation.

- Identify and resolve data quality issues.

- Implement data cleansing and standardization processes.

- Ensure compliance with business and governance standards.

5. Testing & Support:

- Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Support production deployments and post-Go-Live activities.

- Troubleshoot ETL failures and provide production support.

- Prepare technical documentation and deployment artifacts.

6. Collaboration:

- Work closely with SAP Functional Consultants, Data Architects, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, project planning, and solution discussions.

- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices.

Must-Have Skills:

- 6-10 years of experience in SAP BODS/Data Services.

- Strong hands-on experience with ETL development using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.

- Experience in SAP Data Migration and Data Conversion projects.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Good understanding of SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA data structures.

- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

- Knowledge of data quality, validation, and reconciliation techniques.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Candidate Profile:

- Proven experience in SAP implementation, migration, or support projects.

- Strong understanding of enterprise data integration and ETL architecture.

- Experience working with large-scale data migration initiatives.

- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.

- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Education:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- SAP BODS/Data Services certification is an added advantage.

Additional Advantage:

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Migration.

- Knowledge of SAP BW, SAP HANA, or SAP Data Intelligence.

- Experience with SAP SLT or SAP Migration Cockpit.

- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP data platforms.

- Familiarity with Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM).

- Experience with SAP Information Steward.
