Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant with 12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP landscape management, including SAP ECC and S/4HANA (RISE with SAP). The role involves managing end-to-end Basis operations, driving system transformations, ensuring high availability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless SAP operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- SAP Basis Administration

- Manage and support SAP landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Solution Manager

- Perform system installations, upgrades, patching, and refresh activities

- Handle client copies, system builds, and landscape setup

- S/4HANA RISE & Cloud Operations

- Manage SAP S/4HANA systems on RISE with SAP (Private Cloud / Public Cloud)

- Coordinate with SAP and hyperscalers (AWS/Azure/GCP) for infrastructure-related activities

- Monitor system performance, availability, and optimize HANA databases

- Transport & Change Management

- Manage Transport Management System (TMS) and ChaRM processes

- Support release management, deployments, and retrofits

- Ensure compliance with change control processes

- Performance & Monitoring

- Proactive system monitoring (work processes, dumps, locks, interfaces)

- HANA DB monitoring (memory, CPU, expensive SQL, backups)

- Root cause analysis and performance tuning

- High Availability & DR

- Implement and support HA/DR solutions (HANA System Replication, backup strategies)

- Participate in DR drills and ensure system readiness

- Security & Compliance

- Collaborate with security teams for audits and compliance

- Ensure patching, vulnerability fixes, and system hardening

- Integration & Interface Monitoring

- Monitor IDocs, RFC/qRFC/tRFC queues, web services, and middleware integrations

- Coordinate with functional and integration teams for issue resolution

- Automation & Innovation

- Drive automation using scripts/tools for routine Basis activities

- Leverage SAP Focused Run/Solution Manager/Cloud ALM

Required Skills & Experience :

- 12+ years of SAP Basis experience with strong exposure to SAP ECC and S/4HANA

- Hands-on experience in RISE with SAP (Private Cloud preferred)

- Strong expertise in SAP HANA Database Administration

- Experience in system conversions (ECC to S/4HANA) and migrations

- Knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM / Solution Manager

- Experience with OS (Linux/Unix), DB (HANA, AnyDB)

- Familiarity with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP certifications in Basis / HANA / S/4HANA

- Experience in SAP landscape transformation projects

- Exposure to DevOps, automation tools, and scripting (Shell, Python)

- Knowledge of SAP BTP and integration technologies
