The Opportunity :

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our dynamic team.

This role is critical in driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs.

As a TPM with 8-11 years of experience, you will be a key leader, bridging the gap between engineering teams, product management, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and efficient delivery of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Program Leadership & Ownership :

- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of multiple, concurrent, and complex technical programs, from inception through launch and post-launch optimization.

- Define program scope, objectives, success metrics, and key deliverables in collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

- Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

- Proactively identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational roadblocks, ensuring program momentum.

- Champion best practices in program management, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication :

- Act as the central communication point for your programs, providing regular, clear, and concise updates to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.

- Foster strong working relationships with engineering leads, product managers, designers, quality assurance, operations, and other cross-functional teams.

- Facilitate effective decision-making by clearly articulating technical trade-offs, risks, and dependencies to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Drive alignment across teams and resolve conflicting priorities to ensure cohesive program delivery.

Technical Acumen & Problem Solving :

- Possess a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud-native).

- Be able to dive deep into technical details, understand complex system interactions, and challenge technical approaches when necessary.

- Anticipate technical risks and work with engineering teams to develop effective mitigation plans.

- Contribute to technical discussions and help engineering teams make informed decisions.

Risk Management & Quality Assurance :

- Proactively identify, assess, and manage program risks and dependencies, developing contingency plans.

- Ensure that programs adhere to quality standards, security best practices, and regulatory requirements.

- Work closely with QA teams to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Mentorship & Influence :

- Mentor junior TPMs and contribute to the growth and development of the program management function within the organization.

- Influence change and drive process improvements across engineering and product teams.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Master's degree is a plus.

- 8-11 years of progressive experience in technical program management, project management, or a similar role within a software development environment.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale technical programs with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.

- Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, Monday.com).

- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts, challenges, and solutions.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across all levels of an organization.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically while also being hands-on and detail-oriented.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and result-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications :

- PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant certifications.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
