CMS IT Services - Subject Matter Expert - Networking Security

Description :

- Act as SME for Network & Security architecture, operations, and escalations

- Design, implement, and manage Firewall solutions (deployment, upgrades, rule optimization)

- Handle L2/L3 troubleshooting for network & security incidents

- Ensure network security best practices, compliance, and risk mitigation

- Troubleshoot complex network/security incidents

- Manage firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, and security tools

- Lead firewall policy reviews, audits, and vulnerability remediation

- Perform configuration, optimization & upgrades

- Work closely with operations and customer teams to ensure secure and stable environments

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in Routing & Switching

- Hands-on experience with Firewalls (Palo Alto /Cisco ASA / Check Point)

- Deep knowledge of VPN, IPS/IDS, Load Balancers, Network Security Tools

- Ability to handle escalations and drive root-cause analysis

- Certifications like CCNP / PCNSE / CEH / CISSP (preferred but not mandatory)
