Job Description: Platform Development Manager

Job Purpose:

The Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the development of product extensions, reports, labels, and other platform enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

- Manage and coordinate development activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements and strategic objectives.

- Develop, maintain, and enforce a comprehensive Development RunBook.

- Plan, schedule, and monitor development tasks and timelines to meet project milestones.

- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Architects, and QA teams for efficient development cycles.

- Facilitate continuous improvement and innovation in development practices and methodologies.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

- Minimum 7 years experience managing software development teams.

- Demonstrable expertise in managing complex software development projects and extensions.

- Experience in logistics, supply chain platforms, or similar industries.

- Proven expertise on Manhattan Active WMS, including exposure to Pro-Active, Config Director and Manhattan Active GO, IBM Cognos reporting.

- Deep knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and lifecycle management.

- Proficient in development planning, resource management, and quality assurance practices.
