Role Overview :

As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will serve as the primary bridge between complex business financial requirements and robust technical solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to design, configure, and deploy SAP financial modules that enhance operational efficiency. Your daily contributions will directly influence the accuracy of financial reporting, the seamless integration of business processes, and the overall success of large-scale SAP implementations for our enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and configure SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting, to align with specific client business requirements.

- Collaborate with business process owners to gather functional requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for system development.

- Perform end-to-end testing, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure the stability and reliability of financial workflows before production deployment.

- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting to resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to critical financial operations.

- Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional design documents and user training manuals, to facilitate seamless knowledge transfer to end-users.

- Partner with technical teams to manage data migration activities and ensure the integrity of financial data during system transitions.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in SAP FICO configuration, with a deep understanding of integration points with SD, MM, and PP modules.

- Proven ability to manage full-cycle SAP implementations, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, realization, and go-live support.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose complex financial process bottlenecks and propose scalable, efficient technical solutions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders and client leadership teams.

- Professional experience of 4 - 8 years in SAP FICO consulting within a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid office setup in Bangalore, maintaining high levels of productivity and team engagement.

- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology, complemented by a strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
