Cloud Solution Architect - AWS Platform

BSLN CONSULTANCY LLP
9 - 20 Years
Chennai

Posted on: 25/02/2026

Job Description

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Architecture & Design Authority

- Solution Ownership : Take full ownership of the technical delivery for enterprise clients. You translate high-level business requirements into low-level technical designs (LLD) and architectural blueprints.

- Cross-Cloud Expertise : Design robust solutions utilizing AWS Preferred, Azure, or GCP, focusing on Landing Zones, Hybrid Networking, and Security posture.

- Governance : Act as the "Quality Gate." You review the code and configurations produced by the engineering teams to ensure they meet the Well-Architected Framework standards before deployment.

- Hands-On Delivery & Execution

- Complex Implementation : While you won't manage the engineers, you will work alongside them to implement the most complex parts of the architecture (e.g., setting up the Transit Gateway, configuring the Kubernetes Control Plane, or writing complex Terraform modules).

- Troubleshooting : Serve as the highest level of technical escalation during the delivery phase. When a migration stalls or a pipeline breaks, you provide the fix.

- Modernization : Drive "Day 2" operations logic, helping clients move from Lift-and-Shift models to containerized (Docker/K8s) or serverless architectures.

- Client Advisory & Strategy

- Technical Liaison : Interface directly with Client Enterprise Architects and CTOs. You must be able to defend your architectural decisions and explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

- Scope Validator : Assess technical feasibility for new requirements during the project lifecycle to prevent scope creep and ensure delivery timelines are met.

Technical Requirements :

Essential Skills :

- Experience : 8-10+ years in IT Infrastructure/Software, with 5+ years specifically in Cloud Architecture (AWS Preferred, Azure, or GCP).

- IaC Expert : You must be fluent in Terraform. You should be comfortable writing modular, reusable code from scratch, not just running existing scripts.

- Containerization : Deep understanding of Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE). You understand the difference between a Pod and a Deployment and know how to architect for stateless vs. stateful apps.

- CI/CD : Proficiency in designing deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary) using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

- Migration Tools : Hands-on experience with tools like Cloud Endure / Application Migration Service (MGN), Azure Migrate, or Database Migration Service (DMS).

- Application Migration & Modernization : Deep understanding of application migration and modernization in AWS preferred, Microsoft Azure and GCP.

- AWS Partner Program Knowledge (preferred).

Soft Skills for :

- Autonomy : Ability to work with minimal supervision. You can take a vague requirement and turn it into a concrete technical plan.

- Influence without Authority : Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers on the project team to ensure quality, without being their direct line manager.

- Technical Consulting : Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable advice for clients and internal teams.

Qualifications :

- Mandatory : AWS Cloud Certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional).

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
