Cloud Expert - AWS

Job Title: Cloud Expert to AWS (APAC)

Location: Pune

Job Summary:

- We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Expert specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions across the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, security, cost optimization, and automation, along with the ability to support multi-region deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures on AWS

- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and databases

- Lead cloud migration projects from on-premises or other cloud platforms to AWS

- Ensure compliance with regional (APAC) data regulations and security standards

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud-related issues

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform

- Optimize cloud costs using best practices and cost management tools

- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams

- Automate deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and operational workflows

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with strong focus on AWS

- Expertise in AWS services such as: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch

- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system architecture

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)

- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git)

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)

- Experience working in multi-region/global environments (APAC preferred)

- Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO, GDPR, etc.)

- Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
