Job Description

Role Summary :

We are looking for an automation engineer with 4-6 years of experience to design, build, and maintain automated workflows and intelligent process solutions across our enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio), is comfortable scripting in PowerShell/Python, and has exposure to low-code integration tools like n8n or Zapier. We're especially interested in candidates who are open to working across Google technologies and AI tools and who bring a quick-learning, adaptable mindset to keep pace with an evolving automation and AI landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy automated workflows using Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, approvals) to streamline business processes.

- Build low-code business applications using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps) to support operational and departmental needs.

- Develop conversational and AI-driven agents using Copilot Studio, integrating them with backend systems and data sources.

- Write and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Python for tasks beyond the scope of low-code tools (e.g., system administration, data processing, API integrations).

- Evaluate, build, and maintain integrations using tools such as n8n or Zapier to connect disparate SaaS applications.

- Explore and implement automation opportunities using Google Workspace tools (Apps Script, Google Cloud APIs) and emerging AI/LLM tools to enhance productivity and decision-making.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify automation opportunities, and translate manual processes into scalable automated solutions.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automations/flows for performance, reliability, and error handling.

- Document solution architecture, workflows, and standard operating procedures for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

- Stay current with new features and capabilities across the Microsoft Power Platform, Google ecosystem, and AI automation tools, and proactively recommend adoption where valuable.

- Ensure automations follow governance, security, and compliance best practices (data loss prevention policies, connector governance, and access controls).

Required Skills & Experience:

- 4-6 years of overall experience in automation engineering, RPA, or workflow/process automation roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate (cloud & desktop flows).

- Experience building applications with Power Apps (canvas/model-driven).

- Working knowledge of Copilot Studio (or Power Virtual Agents) for building AI-powered chat/voice agents or Google AI Agent.

- Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python scripting for automation and integration tasks.

- Practical experience with n8n, Zapier, or similar workflow/integration automation platforms.

- Solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, and connector-based integrations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred / Good to Have:

- Exposure to Google technologies (Google Apps Script, Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace APIs).

- Familiarity with AI/LLM tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) and prompt-based automation.

- A quick-learning and adaptable mindset comfortable picking up new tools/platforms with minimal ramp-up time.

- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or Azure services.

- Basic understanding of RPA concepts and other automation platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) is a plus.

- Prior experience working in cross-functional or client-facing environments.

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple automation projects simultaneously.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on process reliability and quality.

- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor or share knowledge with team members.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals/Associate, PL-900/PL-400/PL-600) are a plus.

What We Offer:

- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation and AI initiatives across Microsoft and Google ecosystems.

- Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
