Purpose of the job :

The Chief Technology officer serves as the strategic architect and custodian of technology across a diverse portfolio of businesses, including retail, electric vehicles, hospitality, and non-governmental organizations. This role exists to unify, modernize, and future-proof the Group's technological ecosystem, ensuring that innovation, scalability, and operational excellence are embedded into every business vertically.

Knowledge and Skills :

- 20+ years of overall experience in technology, including at least 5 years of experience in IT leadership roles.

- Enterprise Technology Strategy.

- Software Architecture: distributed systems, microservices, APIs, cloud-native architecture.

- Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure/AWS/GCP, containers, Kubernetes, networking.

- AI, Data & Automation: GenAI, ML, data platforms, analytics.

- Cybersecurity & Risk: security architecture, privacy, compliance, DR/BCP.

- Product Development: product lifecycle, UX, customer experience aligned with business vision.

- Technology Governance: policies, standards, architecture governance.

- Financial Management: technology budgets, TCO, ROI, CapEx/OpEx.

- People & Organization: engineering structures, talent models, succession.

- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Abilities :

- Ability to drive and optimize the Group's core in-house ERP system and associated technologies.

- Make build/buy/cloud/on-premises decisions.

- Establish high-performing engineering practices.

- Demonstrate Cross-Industry Adaptability.

- Build and retain high-performing technology leadership teams.

- Proven experience in managing technology across multiple business units or diverse industries.

- Experience in a diversified business group/conglomerate environment will be highly preferred.
