About the Role :

We are looking for a visionary and execution-driven Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our technology and information strategy at scale. The CIO will play a critical role in driving digital transformation, building secure and scalable systems, and enabling rapid product innovation for millions of users.

This role requires experience in high-growth consumer startups or product-led organizations where technology is a core business enabler.

Key Responsibilities :

Technology Strategy & Leadership :

- Define and execute the companys technology and information strategy aligned with business goals

- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team on digital innovation and scalability

- Build and lead high-performing global IT and platform teams

Digital Transformation & Innovation :

- Drive adoption of modern technologies such as :

1. Cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure)

2. AI/ML & GenAI use cases

3. Data platforms and real-time analytics

4. API-first and microservices architecture

- Champion automation and platform engineering culture

Infrastructure & Scalability :

- Ensure highly available, scalable, and resilient infrastructure to support rapid growth

- Lead DevOps, SRE, and cloud optimization initiatives

- Optimize cost, performance, and reliability of systems

Security & Compliance :

- Own enterprise security, data privacy, and compliance frameworks

- Implement modern cybersecurity practices and risk management strategies

- Ensure compliance with global standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc.)

Stakeholder & Vendor Management :

- Manage technology vendors and strategic partnerships

- Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to enable innovation

Required Experience :

- 15+ years in technology leadership roles with 5+ years in executive leadership

- Proven experience in consumer tech startups or product-based organizations at scale

- Strong exposure to cloud-native and distributed systems

- Experience leading digital transformation in high-growth environments

- Track record of building and scaling technology teams

Preferred Qualifications :

- Background in product-led or platform companies serving large user bases

- Exposure to AI-driven products or data-first organizations

- MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus
