Role Overview:

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Sumanel Technology Ventures, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our critical systems and services. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify and resolve potential issues, automate processes, and improve overall system resilience. Your work will directly impact the availability and performance of our services, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact users.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.

- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to quickly resolve issues and prevent future occurrences.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that new features and services are designed for reliability, scalability, and security.

- Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and efficient operations.

- Conduct performance testing and capacity planning to ensure that systems can handle anticipated traffic and load.

- Implement and maintain security best practices to protect systems and data from unauthorized access and threats.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

- Proven ability to automate infrastructure and application deployments using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Adaptability to a fast-paced, on-site work environment.
