Charter Global - Tableau Developer - Python

Key Responsibilities :

- Advanced Dashboard Development : Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards that are intuitive, performant, and include role-level security for various user groups.

- Data Integration & Management : Efficiently integrate Tableau with Snowflake and manage diverse data sources to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

- Data Transformation : Clean and transform raw data effectively using Tableau Prep or Python scripts to prepare it for visualization.

- Visual Design Excellence : Apply visual design best practices to create aesthetically polished dashboards, leveraging proficiency with tools like Canva or Photoshop.

- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication : Participate actively in daily check-ins and maintain regular, clear communication with UK-based stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment.

- Ownership & Problem-Solving : Work independently, take full ownership of projects, and proactively identify and solve complex data and visualization challenges.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong knowledge of Snowflake database, including connecting to, querying, and optimizing data from Snowflake.

- Proven experience with Tableau Prep and/or Python for data cleaning and transformation.

- Familiarity with role-based access controls (RBAC) and implementing data security within Tableau.

- Strong design sensibility and proficiency with Canva or Photoshop for enhancing dashboard aesthetics.

- Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills, particularly for interacting with international stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects from inception to completion.

- Comfortable working in a time zone that aligns with the UK business hours.
