CGI - Python Developer

Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role :

Must-Have Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in API development using Python and AWS (experience with FastAPI is a strong plus).

- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS (PostgreSQL), ElastiCache, SQS, SNS, and Lambda.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).

- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB / MongoDB Atlas.

- Understanding of event-driven architectures and microservices-based systems.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with React.js for frontend development.

- Experience with IBM Spectrum Conductor.

- Experience building Python utilities and integrating with external APIs such as Flask APIs and SharePoint APIs.
