Qualification : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Key Skills Required :

Business Skills :

- General understanding of budgeting and reporting processes

- Solid knowledge of cost allocation mechanisms

- Ability to navigate data models using Ad Hoc analyses in Smart View to identify discrepancies

- Experience in supporting clients during budgeting and management reporting phases

Responsibilities :

Administrator :

- Middleware platforms expertise (e.g. Oracle, SQL, Essbase...)

- Patching and upgrade management : applying security patches, version upgrades, rollback procedures

- Monitoring and performance tuning of middleware components

- Troubleshooting and incident resolution for middleware-related issues

- Scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, PowerShell) for automation of patching and maintenance tasks

- Configuration management and deployment of middleware services

- Integration knowledge : connecting middleware with databases, applications, and APIs for ex. when new installation of ODI

ESSBASE Application Skills :

Essbase Functional Consultant :

- Creation of applications/cubes in Essbase

- Design, creation, and management of data models (outline repository administration via web interface and Cube Designer in Smart View)

- Dimension building using rules

- Data loading using Essbase rules

- Management of substitution variables and prompts

- Creation of simple calculation scripts (aggregation, data clearing, scenario initialization, data copying between scenarios, member formulas)

- Creation of complex calculation scripts (business-specific logic, cost allocation rules)

- Security management in Essbase

Soft Skills (Preferred) :

- Ability to lead or contribute to training sessions for financial stakeholders on Essbase 21C and related application solutions
