Role Overview :

As a Business Analyst at CGI, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within Guidewire implementations. You will collaborate closely with clients, development teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into functional specifications for Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter. Your work will directly contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality, tailored solutions that meet our clients' specific business objectives and improve their operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and existing documentation to ensure a clear understanding of business needs.

- Analyze and model business processes using industry-standard techniques to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories for the development team to facilitate the development of effective and efficient Guidewire solutions.

- Collaborate with developers and testers throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure that the delivered solution meets the defined requirements and quality standards.

- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the implemented solution aligns with business needs and provides a seamless user experience.

- Support the project manager in planning and tracking project activities to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

- Provide subject matter expertise on Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter to guide clients and project teams in making informed decisions.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements in a clear and concise manner.

- Proven experience in business process modeling and analysis, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.

- Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and/or PolicyCenter implementations.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, adapting to changing priorities and project requirements.
