Description :

We are seeking a seasoned Python Architect with strong hands-on development expertise and proven technical leadership experience. The ideal candidate will design, build, and govern scalable, cloud-native applications using Python, AWS, serverless architecture, and microservices, while leading and mentoring a high-performing development team.

This role blends architecture ownership, hands-on coding, and people leadership, ensuring delivery of robust, secure, and high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead a team of 6-8 Python developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance

support.

- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and learning-driven environment within the team.

- Establish and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and documentation guidelines.

- Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote engineering excellence.

Architecture & Solution Design :

- Define and own end-to-end architecture for Python-based systems.

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications and APIs using Django, Flask, or similar

frameworks.

- Architect microservices-based solutions and guide monolith-to-microservices transformations.

- Apply software design patterns and architectural principles to ensure maintainability and scalability.

Hands-On Development :

- Actively contribute to hands-on Python coding for core and complex components.

- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Python frameworks (Django / Flask).

- Ensure clean, efficient, and reusable code aligned with architectural standards.

Cloud & Serverless (AWS) :

- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS.

- Build and manage serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.

- Work with AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch.

- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Database & Data Management :

Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including :

- PostgreSQL

- MongoDB

- Demonstrate strong expertise in SQL, query optimization, and data modeling.

- Ensure data consistency, performance, and reliability across systems.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Analyze business needs and propose technology-driven solutions that meet organizational goals.

- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Quality, Performance & Reliability :

- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and CI pipelines.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Continuously monitor and improve system performance and stability.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest Python frameworks, AWS services, and cloud-native trends.

- Recommend and implement improvements to architecture, tooling, and development practices.

- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 10-15 years of overall IT experience with strong Python expertise

- Proven experience as a Python Architect / Technical Lead

- Strong hands-on experience with Django / Flask

- Expertise in AWS Cloud

- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda & Serverless Architecture

- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture

- Excellent knowledge of design patterns and system design

- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB

- Strong SQL knowledge
