We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO AMS Manager to lead Application Management Services (AMS) support for SAP Finance and Controlling processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in SAP FICO, proven experience managing support teams, and the ability to drive service excellence, incident resolution, process improvements, and stakeholder satisfaction in a support-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage SAP FICO AMS operations, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, enhancements, and change requests.

- Oversee support activities across key SAP Finance processes including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), Automatic Payment Program (APP), Taxation, TDS/TCS, and Intercompany Accounting.

- Manage ticket queues, prioritize incidents based on business impact, and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and KPIs.

- Coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams including SD, MM, ABAP, Basis, and third-party vendors to resolve complex business and system issues.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, configuration changes, and system enhancements.

- Perform SAP FICO configuration and support activities to address evolving business needs.

- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives for recurring issues and implement preventive measures to improve system stability.

- Support Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes from a finance integration perspective.

- Manage financial reporting configurations, including Financial Statement Versions (FSV), Balance Sheet, and Profit & Loss reporting structures.

- Support Asset Accounting, Intercompany Transactions, Taxation, and statutory compliance-related processes.

- Develop and maintain functional specifications, test scripts, configuration documentation, knowledge repositories, and end-user manuals.

- Monitor team performance, allocate workloads, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Conduct user training sessions and provide guidance to business users on system functionality and best practices.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand new requirements and recommend optimal SAP solutions.

- Track support metrics, prepare status reports, and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7- 12 years of experience in SAP FICO consulting, AMS support, or SAP Finance application management.

- Strong hands-on expertise in :

1. SAP FI (General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting)

2. Automatic Payment Program (APP)

3. New General Ledger (New GL)

4. Taxation (TDS, TCS)

5. Intercompany Accounting

6. Financial Reporting and Financial Statement Versions

- Experience managing AMS teams and handling production support environments.

- Strong understanding of incident management, problem management, change management, and SLA-driven support operations.

- Experience preparing functional specifications and working closely with ABAP teams for custom developments.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance environments.

- Exposure to SAP CO, FSCM, Treasury, or Group Reporting.

- Knowledge of ITIL-based support processes.

- Experience managing global AMS engagements and distributed teams.

- SAP FICO certification is an added advantage.
