Capgemini - SAP BPC Embedded Consultant - BW-IP Modules

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP BPC Embedded Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BPC Embedded Planning and BW Integrated Planning (BW-IP). The ideal candidate will design and implement planning models, develop planning functions, and create complex logic using FOX formulas.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement SAP BPC Embedded planning models using BW Integrated Planning (BW-IP).

- Analyze business planning requirements and translate them into effective BPC Embedded planning solutions.

- Design and configure BW-IP/BPC planning models, including InfoProviders, aggregation levels, planning functions, filters, and planning sequences.

- Develop and maintain planning functions to support complex business planning and allocation requirements.

- Create and enhance planning sequences to execute multiple planning steps in the required business process flow.

- Develop complex planning logic using FOX formulas for calculations, allocations, validations, derivations, and other planning scenarios.

- Configure aggregation levels based on business planning requirements and ensure appropriate data granularity for planning operations.

- Design and configure planning filters to control the scope of data used during planning activities.

- Develop and configure BPC Embedded planning queries to enable business users to enter, analyze, and simulate planning data.

- Work closely with business and functional teams to understand budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational planning requirements.

- Integrate BPC Embedded with SAP S/4HANA to leverage real-time transactional and master data for planning processes.

- Integrate BPC Embedded with SAP BW and other relevant data sources for planning and reporting.

- Support real-time planning scenarios by designing appropriate data flows and integration mechanisms between S/4HANA, BW, and BPC Embedded.

- Develop and maintain planning-related data models, transformations, and data flows where required.

- Troubleshoot issues related to planning functions, FOX formulas, planning sequences, aggregation levels, filters, and planning queries.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for planning solutions.

- Analyze and optimize the performance of planning models, queries, and planning functions.

- Support deployment and transport of BPC Embedded objects across development, quality, and production environments.

- Prepare technical documentation covering planning models, functions, sequences, FOX formulas, queries, and integration architecture.

- Provide production support and resolve planning-related incidents in coordination with business and technical teams.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in SAP BPC Embedded Planning.

- Strong hands-on experience with BW Integrated Planning (BW-IP).

- Proven experience designing and implementing BPC Embedded planning models.

- Strong knowledge of planning functions and planning sequences.

- Hands-on experience developing complex business logic using FOX formulas.

- Strong understanding of aggregation levels, planning filters, and planning queries.

- Experience configuring input-ready planning queries for business users.

- Good understanding of SAP BW architecture and data modeling concepts.

- Experience integrating SAP BPC Embedded with SAP S/4HANA.

- Experience integrating BPC Embedded with SAP BW systems and relevant data sources.
