Key Responsibilities :

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with external systems.

- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability.

- Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and contribute to best practices & coding standards.

- Work closely with product managers, DevOps, QA, and frontend teams to deliver features end to end.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and code quality improvements.

- Manage databases, write efficient SQL queries, work with ORM frameworks, and ensure data integrity.

- Apply security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.

- Research and propose new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve system efficiency.

- Mentor junior developers and support team knowledge sharing initiatives.

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17) and object oriented programming.

- Deep experience with Spring Framework, including :

1. Spring Boot

2. Spring MVC

3. Spring Data JPA / Hibernate

4. Spring Cloud (preferred)

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and API versioning.

- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle).

- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.

- Handson experience with message brokers: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.

DevOps & Cloud Skills :

- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.

- Experience with Docker and containerization concepts.

- Understanding of Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.

- Familiarity with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud services.

Other Skills :

- Strong understanding of design patterns, clean code principles, and SOLID concepts.

- Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and automated test pipelines.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.
