Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Sterling Integrator Business Process development, EDI, mapping, Trading Partner onboarding, and end-to-end B2B integration.

The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of EDI standards and 800-series transactions, along with experience working in the Manlog and Retail domains.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting business processes, analyzing and creating mappings, setting up trading partners, and supporting end-to-end testing from ERP systems through to customers.

The role also requires strong communication skills and the ability to guide, train, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Sterling Integrator (SI) Business Processes based on business and integration requirements.

- Develop and modify business processes to support B2B/EDI transactions and trading partner integrations.

- Analyze existing Sterling Integrator processes and identify opportunities for enhancements, fixes, and optimization.

- Work extensively with EDI mapping, including analyzing existing maps and developing new mappings as required.

- Troubleshoot mapping issues and ensure accurate transformation and processing of EDI transactions.

- Manage the complete end-to-end Trading Partner setup in IBM Sterling Integrator.

- Create and configure Mailboxes and associated access and routing configurations.

- Configure communication protocols required for Trading Partner integrations.

- Support Trading Partner onboarding, including configuration, testing, validation, and deployment.

- Work with internal teams, customers, and external trading partners to understand integration requirements and resolve technical issues.

- Support end-to-end testing, covering the complete flow from ERP systems through Sterling Integrator to the customer/trading partner.

- Analyze transaction failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

- Monitor integrations and provide production support for EDI and Sterling Integrator processes.

- Coordinate with ERP, application, infrastructure, business, and customer teams during integration testing and production deployments.

- Prepare technical documentation for business processes, mappings, trading partner configurations, and integration flows.

- Ensure integration solutions adhere to established technical standards, security requirements, and operational processes.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.

- Train and mentor junior team members on Sterling Integrator, EDI processes, mappings, and Trading Partner setup.

- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, code/process reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills :

1. IBM Sterling Integrator :

- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (SI).

- Strong experience in Sterling Integrator Business Process development.

- Experience in creating, modifying, testing, and troubleshooting Sterling Integrator Business Processes.

- Strong understanding of Sterling Integrator architecture and integration workflows.

- Experience with Mailbox creation and configuration.

- Hands-on experience with Protocol setup and configuration.

- Strong experience in Trading Partner onboarding and setup.

- Ability to troubleshoot end-to-end Sterling Integrator integration issues.

2. EDI :

- Strong understanding of EDI concepts, standards, and transaction processing.

- Hands-on experience working with 800-series EDI transactions.

- Strong knowledge of EDI mapping and transformation.

- Ability to analyze existing mappings and develop/modify mappings based on business requirements.

- Experience troubleshooting EDI transaction and mapping-related issues.

- Understanding of inbound and outbound EDI transaction flows.

3. Domain Knowledge :

- Good understanding of the Retail domain.

- Experience working in the Manlog / Manufacturing & Logistics domain will be highly preferred.

- Understanding of customer, supplier, order, shipment, invoicing, and related EDI business processes will be an advantage.
