Job Title : Business Analyst (Reference Data / Static Data)

About the Role :

This role demands excellent stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively between business units, technology teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to reference data/static data initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of data-related projects.

- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of data management processes.

- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.

- Conduct impact analysis and data validation to ensure data quality and integrity.

- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions.

- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.

- Support testing efforts and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for data-related changes.

- Provide training and support to end-users on new data systems or processes.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5 to 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services, data management, or related domains.

- Strong understanding of reference data and static data concepts.

- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications.

- Experience with data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

- Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field.
