Job Title : Capability Leader - Azure (Data & AI)

About the Role :
We are seeking a seasoned Capability Leader - Azure (Data & AI) to lead strategy, growth, and delivery for our Azure Data & AI practice. This role will be responsible for driving practice scale, strengthening Microsoft partnerships, leading complex pursuits, and building a high-performing team while positioning the organization as a market leader in Azure Data & AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Practice Growth & Strategy :
- Define and execute the digital roadmap for the Azure Data & AI practice.
- Drive revenue, margin growth, and market expansion across new and existing clients.
- Identify emerging trends, offerings, and investment priorities within the Azure ecosystem.
Microsoft Ecosystem & Partnership Leadership :
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships with Microsoft field, partner, and engineering teams.
- Drive co-sell motions, joint GTM initiatives, and specialization achievements.
- Act as the primary escalation and leadership interface for Microsoft alliance engagements.
Solution Architecture & Complex Pursuits :
- Lead solution architecture and technical strategy for large, complex Azure Data & AI programs.
- Support high-value pursuits, RFPs, and deal shaping with differentiated Azure solutions.
Delivery Excellence & Client Success :
- Govern the portfolio of Azure Data & AI engagements, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
- Ensure strong delivery governance, risk management, and client satisfaction.
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
Thought Leadership & Market Positioning :
- Establish the organization as a thought leader in Azure Data & AI through whitepapers, blogs, webinars, and conference participation.
- Contribute to analyst interactions, industry forums, and Microsoft-led events.
People & Capability Development :
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing Azure Data & AI team.
- Drive certification programs, capability uplift, and innovation culture.
- Foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and future-ready skills development.

- Practice growth from new and existing clients.

- Co-sell wins, specializations, and joint GTM success.

Ideal Candidate Profile :
- 15- 20 years of experience in Data & AI, with 5- 7+ years in Azure-focused leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure Data Platform, AI/ML, Synapse, Fabric, Power BI, and related services.
- Proven track record in practice building, strategic partnerships, and delivery governance.
- Strong experience engaging CxO-level stakeholders and influencing business outcomes.
- Exceptional people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
