About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and scale advanced AI-driven solutions.

In this role, you will lead the development of cutting-edge Generative AI applications, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based workflows to solve complex business problems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, drive architecture decisions, and deliver production-grade AI systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and deployment of end-to-end Generative AI solutions in production environments

- Architect and implement LLM-based applications, including prompt engineering and optimization

- Build and manage RAG pipelines using vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, etc.)

- Develop AI agent workflows using frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph

- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions

- Optimize model performance, latency, and cost for real-world applications

- Ensure best practices in MLOps, model monitoring, and governance

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team

- Work with global stakeholders across geographies and cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field

- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML

- 3- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Generative AI / Machine Learning solutions

- Proven track record of delivering 3+ end-to-end GenAI implementations in production

- Strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering

- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and AI agent frameworks

- Experience in building RAG-based architectures with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, etc.)

- Strong programming skills in Python (3+ years); working knowledge of SQL (R is a plus)

- Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn

- Proficiency in data handling using Pandas, SQL, Apache Spark

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform

- Understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with AI model deployment and MLOps tools

- Exposure to multi-modal AI (text, image, video)

- Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning and embeddings optimization

- Experience in building scalable, enterprise-grade AI systems
