Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design and prototype UI directly in the codebase using component library and AI tools, including novel AI native interactions.

- Sit inside a pod with PM and engineering lead to take features from concept to shipped.

- Own interaction and motion details including loading states, streaming states, transitions and micro-interactions.

- Contribute patterns and components back to the shared design system.

Ideal Candidate :

- 4+ years in product design, with depth in dense interfaces (tables, forms, permissions, multi-role flows).

- Strong product and visual design judgment, shown through one or two case studies on how they approached a hard product problem.

- Ability to sit in a pod (PM + eng lead + designer) and take features from concept to shipped, contributing patterns and components back to the shared design system.

- Comfortable building in code (designer, not engineer) - able to work inside an existing codebase and design system, assemble real interfaces from existing components, and get to a working prototype.

- Ability to design and prototype UI directly in the codebase using the component library and AI tools, including novel AI-native interactions where no pattern exists yet.

- Ability to direct AI tools well - producing prototypes that respect the component system, accessibility, and existing patterns, not one-off generated screens that ignore them.

- Ability to own interaction and motion detail - loading/streaming states, transitions, and micro-interactions.

- Experience or strong interest in AI-native interfaces (streaming output, agentic and human-in-the-loop UX, showing confidence and uncertainty in UI).

- Must share a portfolio (with password) showing a real product prototype - not websites/landing pages, dummy projects, or Figma/Behance/Dribbble-only work. A public code / GitHub profile is preferred.

- Excellent English communication and ability to clearly articulate thought process (works with US stakeholders).

- Background in B2B SaaS, ideally at a company using AI-driven design processes (not traditional Figma), with prior design-system experience.
