Role Overview :

We are building a next-generation low-latency, real-time (streaming) market data platform to power advanced trading and analytics use cases.

As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with product managers, developers, and operations teams to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, real-time data services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated analyst to deepen their expertise in financial data systems and streaming technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for real-time data solutions by working with internal and external stakeholders.

- Analyze market data protocols and define mappings to standardized schemas and data models.

- Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and data dictionaries for development teams.

- Collaborate with QA and development teams to ensure requirements are testable, traceable, and meet quality standards.

- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to support iterative delivery.

- Support operational readiness by contributing to process improvements, documentation, and data validation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, market data, or a related domain.

- Good understanding of real-time data concepts, including streaming architectures, data normalization, and data quality management.

- Familiarity with APIs and data integration techniques.

- Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Python), version control tools (e.g., Git), and agile project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.

- Fluent in English, with strong presentation and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Working knowledge of market data protocols such as FIX, ITCH, or similar.

- Experience using agile delivery and backlog management tools.

- Exposure to data modeling, data lineage, or performance metric tracking.
