Business Analyst - SQL/ETL

Work Mode : 5 days office (Mandatory)

- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in banking or financial services environments

- Strong understanding of business process modelling, requirements gathering, and documentation

- Proven experience in translating business needs into functional and non-functional requirements

- Proficient in writing and reviewing SQL queries for data validation and analysis

- Experience working with AWS data services such as Redshift, Glue, S3, Athena, and Lambda

- Familiarity with ETL pipelines, data lakes, and cloud-based data warehousing solutions

- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, developers, and business stakeholders

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently or in a team

PREFERRED / GOOD TO HAVE :

- Familiarity with data modelling concepts including star/snowflake schemas

- Exposure to BI tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker

- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments

- Experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model

ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document requirements

- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories

- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements

- Support data mapping, transformation logic, and validation for AWS-based ETL processes

- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for system changes

- Assist in the design and validation of data models and reporting outputs

- Ensure alignment of solutions with business goals and compliance standards

- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure clarity and shared understanding
