Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in Aligne ETRM to support and manage complex reporting requirements across Credit, Risk, and Settlement business functions.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Aligne, a solid understanding of Power and Gas trading operations, and the ability to independently handle production support, bug fixes, and enhancement requests.

The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams within an Agile delivery environment to drive successful solution delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze, manage, and deliver complex reporting changes within Credit, Risk, and Settlement business domains.

- Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.

- Design and support report development and enhancements within the Aligne platform.

- Independently investigate and resolve production issues, defects, and reporting discrepancies.

- Manage enhancement requests and ensure timely delivery of business solutions.

- Collaborate with business users, Product Owners, developers, and testing teams throughout the project lifecycle.

- Facilitate requirement workshops, backlog refinement sessions, and Agile ceremonies.

- Provide functional expertise and support for Power and Gas trading processes.

- Ensure solution alignment with business objectives and operational requirements.

- Mentor stakeholders and business partners on Agile ways of working where required.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

Aligne ETRM Expertise :

- Minimum 3 years of proven hands-on experience working with Aligne ETRM.

- Strong experience in Aligne Business Analysis activities.

- Deep understanding of complex report development and reporting architecture within Aligne.

- Experience supporting production environments, bug fixes, and enhancement requests.

- Candidates with experience only in other ETRM platforms and no Aligne experience will not be considered.

Domain Knowledge :

- Strong understanding of the Power and Gas trading deal lifecycle.

- Knowledge of Credit, Risk Management, and Settlement business processes.

- Experience working with trading and energy commodity business stakeholders.

Agile Delivery :

- Proven experience working in Agile project environments.

- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, methodologies, and delivery practices.

- Experience using Agile tools for backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.

- Ability to work effectively with Product Owners and business stakeholders to drive Agile adoption and collaboration.

Business Analysis & Leadership :

- Strong requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Team leadership and coordination experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.

- Exposure to end-to-end ETRM implementation and support projects.

- Strong analytical and reporting skills.

- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Key Requirements Summary :

- 7 to 10 years of overall IT experience.

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Aligne ETRM experience (mandatory).

- Strong Aligne reporting experience.

- Power & Gas trading domain knowledge.

- Agile project experience.

- Experience in Credit, Risk, and Settlement business areas.

- Bangalore-based hybrid working model (3 days/week from office)
