Description :
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
2. Business Process & Solution Analysis :
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and digitization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design IT solutions aligned with business goals.
- Create functional specifications, process flows, wireframes, and system diagrams.
3. Agile / SDLC Execution :
- Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks and participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain product backlogs including epics, user stories, and tasks.
- Ensure requirements are effectively integrated across all phases of the SDLC.
4. Documentation & Governance :
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including BRD, FSD, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and training materials.
- Ensure documentation remains accurate and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Data Analysis & Insights :
- Analyze business data to identify trends and insights that support decision-making.
- Collaborate with data analysts and data science teams as required.
6. Quality Assurance & UAT :
- Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and validation scenarios.
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure business requirements are met.
7. Change Management :
- Support change management initiatives including user training, communication plans, and adoption strategies.
- Assist business users during rollout and post-implementation support.
8. Project & Delivery Support :
- Identify dependencies, risks, and scope changes and recommend mitigation strategies.
9. Leadership & Mentoring :
- Guide and mentor junior Business Analysts as required.
- Balance individual contribution with team leadership responsibilities.
10. Continuous Improvement :
- Stay updated on industry trends, Agile best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Proactively suggest process improvements and innovative solutions.
11. Technology & Tools :
- High-level understanding of modern software development technologies and architectures.
12. Communication & Travel Requirements :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex concepts clearly.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for short- to medium-term assignments based on project requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (IT or related field); MBA preferred.
- Experience in IT services or product-based environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are an added advantage.
