Business Analyst with strong functional expertise across core business and finance modules including Customer, Pricing, Material Master, Demo Inventory, Orders & Backlog, Delivery Fill Rate & STO Delivery, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Global Shared Services (GSS), Services & PO for Service Contracts, as well as Prime Margin, Sales, General Ledger, and CFIN.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, technical teams, and product owners to translate business needs into functional requirements and support end-to-end solution delivery across these modules.

Key Responsibilities :


1. Requirements Gathering & Functional Analysis :


- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across all functional modules.


- Convert business needs into functional specifications


- Conduct gap analysis between current processes and desired future-state processes across finance data.

2. Functional Ownership Across Modules :


- Provide strong functional expertise and understanding across :


Operational Modules :



- Customer


- Pricing


- Material Master


- Demo Inventory


- Orders & Backlog


- Delivery Fill Rate & STO Delivery


- Purchase Price Variance (PPV)


- Global Shared Services (GSS)


- Services & PO for Service Contracts


Finance & Analytics Modules :



- Prime Margin Analysis


- Sales Reporting & Forecasting


- General Ledger (GL) Processes


- Central Finance (CFIN) Integrations & Reporting

3. Process Mapping & Optimization :


- Develop As-Is and To-Be process flows aligned with business objectives.


- Identify opportunities for process automation, simplification, and quality improvements.


- Ensure solutions align with audit, compliance, and financial controls.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration


- Act as a liaison between business teams, development teams, implementation teams, QA, and third-party vendors.


- Provide functional clarification and ongoing support during development and execution cycles.

5. Testing & Validation :


- Prepare functional test cases and support system testing, UAT, SIT, and end-to-end validation.


- Validate outputs across modules, especially finance areas such as GL postings, margin calculations, and CFIN reconciliations.


- Ensure defects are documented, tracked, and resolved.

Required Skills & Competencies :


- 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant.


- Strong understanding of the listed functional modules including both operational and finance domains.


- Knowledge of financial concepts such as Prime Margin, GL posting logic, financial consolidations, and CFIN flows.


- Experience working with cross-functional teams and complex business processes.


- Strong data interpretation and analytical skills.


- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.


- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.


- Strong working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation, and reconciliation across modules.


- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView to prepare dashboards and analytical reports.


- Hands-on experience with major ERP systems, preferably SAP (SD, MM, FI, CO), including familiarity with SAP CFIN data flows and reconciliation.


- Ability to create detailed business process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.


- Experience documenting requirements and managing Agile workflows using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.


- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration methods, and API-driven workflows
