Job Description

Key Responsibilities/Tasks :


- Collaborate extensively with technical stakeholders (e.g., security architects, developers, engineers, product owners) and business users to elicit, analyze, and meticulously document functional and non-functional requirements for complex IAM solutions.


- Conduct in-depth technical analysis of existing IAM processes, systems, and integrations to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for automation and improvement.


- Translate abstract business needs into precise, unambiguous, and testable technical requirements, including use cases, user stories, process flows (BPMN), and data models (where applicable).


- Analyze data structures and integration points relevant to IAM provisioning, de-provisioning, authentication, and authorization.


- Work closely with IAM Product Owners, Security Architects, Developers, and Engineers to design robust, scalable, and secure IAM solutions, with a strong preference for experience within the One Identity Manager framework.


- Contribute to the technical design of IAM workflows, roles, policies, and access controls, ensuring alignment with security best practices and regulatory compliance.


- Actively participate in the configuration, testing (including UAT and system integration testing), and deployment of IAM systems and tools.


- Assist in defining test cases and validating that implemented solutions meet technical specifications and business requirements.


- Ensure IAM solutions adhere to architectural principles, performance benchmarks, and security standards.


- Identify opportunities for technical optimization and automation within IAM processes, leveraging scripting, API integrations, and system capabilities.


- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for IAM policies, procedures, workflows, and system configurations.


- Provide technical recommendations for enhancing IAM governance, controls, and operational efficiency.


- Serve as a critical technical liaison between business units, IT, and Information Security teams, facilitating effective communication and technical alignment on IAM initiatives.


- Conduct technical training and knowledge transfer sessions for development teams, operations staff, and power users on IAM system functionalities and configurations.


- Support technical aspects of audit and compliance activities related to IAM, providing documentation and explanations of system behavior.


- Monitor IAM system performance, logs, and security events to ensure effective operation and compliance with technical standards.


- Develop and generate technical reports on IAM metrics, incidents, and system performance, often utilizing data analysis tools.


- Assist in the technical investigation and resolution of IAM-related incidents and issues, collaborating closely with development and operations teams.



Key Requirements / Skills / Experience:



Qualification, Certification and Experiences:



- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, a related technical field, or comparable work experience.


- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken fluently, for technical documentation and communication.


- At least 2-3 years of demonstrable work experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong preference for experience in the field of Identity and Access Management (IAM).


- Essential: Proven experience working with a modern Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) software tool like One Identity Manager (strongly preferred), SailPoint, Okta, ForgeRock, Oracle Identity Manager, or similar enterprise-grade IAM platforms.


- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IAM (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, DORA, NIST CSF, ISO 27001) is a significant plus.


- Relevant technical certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), CompTIA Security+, or vendor-specific IAM certifications are highly desirable.


Skills and Competencies (Technical & Methodological) :



- Deep understanding of IAM concepts: Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of IAM fundamentals, including authentication (MFA, SSO), authorization (RBAC, ABAC), provisioning, de-provisioning, identity lifecycle management, access requests, access reviews, privileged access management (PAM), and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).


- Technical Acumen & Interest: Expertise and keen interest in IT security, Identity and Access Management, and related fields of technology.


- Openness to new trends, emerging technologies (e.g., passwordless authentication, decentralized identity), and their practical application.


- Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to break down complex technical problems, identify root causes, and propose effective and efficient technical solutions.


- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical stakeholders).


- Experience in facilitating technical discussions and workshops.


- Agile Methodologies: Experience working within agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), including writing user stories, managing backlogs, and participating in sprint ceremonies.


- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Proven track record of creating high-quality, precise technical documentation (e.g., functional specifications, technical design documents, data flow diagrams, API specifications) and effectively transferring knowledge in an enterprise-scaled, international environment.


- Problem-Solving in Demanding Situations: Competence to manage tasks in demanding and unfamiliar technical situations, with problem-solving skills based on practical application and established precedents.


- Collaboration: Ability to cooperate efficiently with technical clients, working effectively in cross-functional engineering teams, and a willingness to mentor and support new team members.


- Incident Analysis/Handling: Experience with technical incident analysis and handling, with close collaboration with architects, developers, engineers, and providing effective communication to customers and business stakeholders.


Bonus Skills :



- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation within IAM solutions.


- Experience with cloud IAM services (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM).


- Understanding of directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP).


- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
