Business Analyst

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business/Data Analyst with proven expertise in Looker and LookML to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the data engineering team, translating complex business requirements into well-structured data models and insightful dashboards.

Your work will empower stakeholders across departments to make informed, data-driven decisions by providing clear, accurate, and actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with product managers, marketing, sales, finance, and engineering teams to understand their needs and deliver impactful analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and optimize data models using LookML, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reusability.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.

- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from various sources.

- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of reports and dashboards.

- Conduct deep-dive data analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.

- Present findings and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders through visual storytelling and reports.

- Work alongside data engineers and architects to continuously improve the data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.

- Stay current with best practices in business intelligence, data visualization, and analytics tools.

Required Qualifications :

- Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries and understanding of relational database concepts.

- Solid understanding of business intelligence (BI) and data analytics principles, including data warehousing and ETL processes.

- Proven ability to translate complex business questions into structured, actionable analysis.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple priorities.
