About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle EBS DBA & OCI Consultant to lead Oracle E-Business Suite administration, database upgrades, cloud migration, and production support initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle EBS, Oracle Database Administration, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), with a strong background in managing mission-critical enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Oracle EBS upgrades from version 12.5 to the latest 12.x release.

- Perform Oracle Database upgrades from 11g to 19c.

- Manage Oracle EBS administration, including ADOP patching, cloning, cutover activities, and security updates.

- Deploy, configure, and support Oracle E-Business Suite workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

- Design and implement OCI networking and security components, including VCNs, Network Security Groups (NSGs), IAM, Vault, and Encryption.

- Configure and manage IAM and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.

- Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities using RMAN.

- Manage Linux environments, including RPM package administration and system maintenance.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize Oracle ERP environments.

- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure successful project delivery and system availability.

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.x administration.

- Extensive experience with Oracle Database 11g and 19c administration.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

- Strong knowledge of ADOP patching, cloning, cutover, and Oracle EBS lifecycle management.

- Experience implementing OCI security, including IAM, VCNs, NSGs, Vault, and Encryption.

- Expertise in RMAN backup, recovery, and database performance tuning.

- Strong Linux system administration skills.

- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience designing and supporting High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.

- Exposure to Oracle Middleware technologies.

- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise production environments.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Oracle Database, Oracle EBS, or Oracle Cloud certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience :

- 1015 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration and Oracle E-Business Suite.

- Proven experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure implementations, Oracle EBS upgrades, and enterprise production support.
