The Role :
We are seeking a Sr. Solution Engineer to join our customer-facing technical team. In this high-impact, remote role, you will act as the technical bridge between our enterprise customers and the BrightEdge platform.
Your primary mission is to ensure that our customers' complex web environments-spanning massive architectures and modern frameworks-integrate seamlessly with our technology. You will be the resident expert in website debugging and front-end rendering.
When a Fortune 500 client has a "head-scratcher" involving how their JavaScript-heavy landing page interacts with our crawlers or UI components, you are the one who dives into the code to find the solution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Enterprise Technical Support : Serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise-level customers, managing complex technical inquiries and providing white-glove service.
- Website & UI Debugging : Diagnose and resolve issues within client UI components and landing pages.
- This includes identifying conflicts in HTML structure, CSS styling, and JavaScript execution.
- Rendering Troubleshooting : Master the nuances of how modern web browsers and SEO crawlers render content.
- You will debug issues related to Client-Side Rendering (CSR), Server-Side Rendering (SSR), and dynamic content delivery.
- Solution Architecture : Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to design technical workarounds and implementations that meet specific business requirements for diverse tech stacks.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with Product and Engineering teams to report persistent bugs, suggest feature enhancements, and stay ahead of web development trends.
What You Bring :
- Technical Proficiency : Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- You should be comfortable navigating the "Inspect Element" tool and Network tab in your sleep.
- SaaS Experience : Proven track record in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Tier 3 Support) within a SaaS environment.
- Debugging Mindset : Strong ability to troubleshoot rendering issues, especially those involving modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and their impact on SEO/performance.
- Communication : Exceptional ability to explain "deep tech" concepts to non-technical stakeholders (Marketing Managers, CMOs) while maintaining credibility with client-side developers.
- Time Management : Ability to thrive in an EST-aligned schedule, managing high-priority tasks for customers across the Eastern time zone.
