Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer (Application DevOps) with deep expertise in GitLab, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, AWS, and YAML scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining application delivery pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across environments.

This role demands hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools, cloud infrastructure management, and deployment automation for large-scale enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.

- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters for scalable application deployment.

- Create and manage Helm charts for efficient Kubernetes application packaging and deployment.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Manage and optimize cloud environments in AWS, ensuring cost efficiency, reliability, and security.

- Develop and maintain scripts and configurations using YAML, Bash, or Python.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth application integration and delivery.

- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues in CI/CD and containerized environments.

- Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices, including automation, security, and version control.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, focusing on application delivery and automation.

- Strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Helm.

- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).

- Proficiency in writing and managing YAML configurations.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration.

- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring solutions.

- Good knowledge of version control (Git) and scripting languages (Bash, Python).

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in complex environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or Splunk.

- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

- Understanding of blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies.

- Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
