Job Title : SAP S/4HANA ABAP + RAP Senior Consultant (10+ Years Experience)

Job Summary :

- Build and support integrations using:

- IDocs

- Proxies (SOAP/REST)

- RFC/BAPI

- Develop and enhance Adobe Forms (Interactive Forms by Adobe)

- Implement robust error handling, application logs, and audit logs

S/4HANA & Data Modeling :

- Develop advanced CDS Views :

- Basic, Composite, and Consumption views

- Use annotations for UI and analytics

- Optimize data models for performance on SAP HANA

- Leverage AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) where required

RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) :

- Design and develop applications using RAP (Managed & Unmanaged scenarios)

- Build :

- Business Objects

- Behavior Definitions & Implementations

- Service Definitions & Bindings

- Expose data via OData V4 services using RAP

- Apply clean core and extensibility principles

SAP BTP/ABAP on Cloud :

- Work with Cloud Foundry environment for deployment and lifecycle management

- Integrate with BTP services such as:

- Workflow Management

- Document Management

- Mobile Services

- Java applications (basic exposure)

- Design and review cloud solution architectures

APIs & Integration :

- Develop and consume :

- OData services (V2 & V4)

- REST APIs

- Implement secure and scalable integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems

- Experience with API Management is a plus

Fiori & Extensibility :

- Extend standard SAP Fiori applications using:

- Key User Extensibility

- Developer Extensibility (BAdIs, CDS extensions, etc.)

- Configure and deploy apps on Fiori Launchpad (Central Launchpad / BTP Launchpad Service)

- Map applications to roles, catalogs, and tiles

Development Tools & Practices :

- Work with :

- SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)

- SAP Web IDE (Full Stack)

- Follow modern engineering practices:

- Code reviews & quality gates

- Version control (Git-based)

- CI/CD pipelines

- Unit and integration testing

Deployment & Lifecycle Management

- Deploy applications to :

- S/4HANA systems

- SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / ABAP Environment)

- Manage transport and release processes

- Ensure performance optimization and scalability

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of SAP ABAP experience

- Minimum 2+ years in S/4HANA & RAP development

- Strong expertise in:

- Core ABAP (RICEF, Enhancements, Forms)

- CDS Views & Data Modeling

- RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

- OData Services (V2/V4)

- Hands-on experience with:

- SAP BTP (ABAP on Cloud)

- Cloud Foundry environment

- Strong knowledge of:

- Application logging & audit frameworks

- API development & integration patterns

Good to Have :

- Working knowledge of SAPUI5 / Fiori (UI layer)

- Experience with Event-driven architecture on SAP BTP

- Exposure to CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

- Knowledge of DevOps practices in SAP landscape
