Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Boomi Kong Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and managing API integrations using Boomi Integration Platform and Kong API Gateway. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in API management, integration development, security, and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Boomi AtomSphere.

- Develop, publish, secure, and manage APIs using Kong API Gateway.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.

- Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, SSL/TLS, and rate limiting.

- Integrate enterprise applications, databases, SaaS platforms, and third-party systems.

- Configure and manage Kong plugins, routing, consumers, services, and upstreams.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and API performance issues.

- Monitor APIs and integrations to ensure high availability and reliability.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable integration solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for API and integration development.

- Create technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and deployment processes.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in application integration and API development.

- Strong experience with Boomi AtomSphere.

- Hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway administration and development.

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, and OpenAPI/Swagger.

- Experience with API lifecycle management.

- Good understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL, and API security standards.

- Experience with SQL and relational databases.

- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture.

- Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.

- Boomi certifications.

- Kong API Gateway certifications.

- Exposure to DevOps practices and automation tools.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
