Billing Developer (6-8 Years Experience)

Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Billing Developer to design, develop, and maintain telecom billing systems. The role requires hands-on expertise in rating, charging, billing, invoicing, and billing lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and customize billing solutions

- Implement rating logic, tariff configuration, and discounting models

- Experience on billing, invoice generation, mediation processing, payments and reconciliation

- Analyse business requirements and convert them into technical designs

- Troubleshoot billing issues, revenue leakage, and performance bottlenecks

- Integrate billing systems with upstream/downstream systems (CRM, OCS, ERP)

- Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and production deployments

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-8 years of experience in Telecom Billing Systems

- Hands-on experience with the Billing platforms

- Strong knowledge of :

i. Subscription management

ii. Rating, Charging, Billing cycles

iii. CDR processing, Mediation systems

iv. Payment , Accounts receivable, GL

- Proficiency in :

i. SQL, PL/SQL

ii. Unix/Linux environments

iii. Java (Spring Boot), Scripting (Shell, Python, etc.)

- Experience with APIs and system integrations

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
