Role Overview :
As a Business Analyst at BOH, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, analyze data, and propose solutions that optimize our platform and improve user experience. Your insights will directly impact the development of new features, the streamlining of existing processes, and the overall success of BOH in the competitive real estate market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Elicit and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and objectives.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams, to guide the development team.
- Develop and execute UAT test plans to validate that implemented solutions meet the defined requirements and business needs.
- Conduct data analysis using Excel and SQL to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Design and develop insightful reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business performance.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations using PowerPoint to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements effectively.
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
- Experience in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proficiency in using PowerPoint to create and deliver presentations.
- Hands-on experience with UAT testing and defect management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Solid understanding of data analysis principles and techniques.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools for creating reports and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
